Hicks Family ~ Fall 2018

This is my second year photographing this sweet family. Almost 4 years ago, I met Brooke & Kevin when they arrived at the hospital to have their first baby! I was their nurse. I consider myself the lucky one, because from beginning to end they were amazing, and since then Brooke and I have become friends. Hands down, that is one of the best parts of my {job}. 18 months later, I unfortunately couldn't be there for the birth of their 2nd son, but was quick to pay a visit as soon as I could. Since then, I always look forward to the opportunity to see and photograph their family. Wild boys full of love for their Momma & Daddy, and I am so happy to have a back seat at watching them grow.

Bauer ~ Fresh48

Meet Bauer Alexander Curry! This little guy is such a blessing to our family. He makes #10 to the Curry Clan of grandkids and #6 in the Horn Family. Even at just a few weeks old now, he is living up to his powerful name. Fresh48 sessions are some of my favorite sessions. The simplicity, the raw emotion, the excitement... it's all just palpable through the camera. I love finding the little things and being creative with the hospital backdrop. These sessions are a keepsake to some of the best memories of welcoming a new baby into the world. Congratulations Nate, Ashley, Weston & Carter!

Lucy ~ Newborn

Remember that precious little girl with the BEST dimples? (If you don't, scroll back to her big sister reveal/18 month session in May... I promise you will be "dimple jealous")! Introducing...her little sis... Lucy James! I just couldn't wait to get over to Kristin & Ryan's house to meet this little squish. And can we talk about that blonde hair? Gorgeous. McKager might need a little time to warm up to the idea of having to give up her only child status... but something tells me she'll come around and these two are going to be best friends.
