Taking it back...

I've been nervous about breaking into the blog world for quite some time now. I'm not even really sure why. Maybe because it's a feeling of being exposed... I don't know. In any event, here I am! I've taken the first step and created the blog. Step 2: what to post first. I guess I should take it back to where it all started and give credit where credit is due.

I moved to Charlotte, NC in 2010 where I met Mike only 3 months later. We connected very quickly and settled into a life we knew we could see together. After a couple, what seem like very short years, we got engaged on my birthday. I knew I wanted a special way to capture our engagement and maybe this is where my love of photography really started. My cousin, Mike Lesnick, is a well known professional photographer in the Northern VA/Washington D.C. area. He quickly and excitedly agreed to head down and shoot our engagement photos and I couldn't be more excited!
